At Geerings, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. To achieve this, we offer an option to all clients to print on Carbon Woodland Paper, which is carbon neutral.

Geerings Print are very aware of their responsibility to the environment and have concentrated on reducing the impact on the environment in four main areas.

  • Energy
  • Solvents
  • Water
  • Waste

How does it work?

We purchase paper stock for which the trees used are replanted, to ensure ongoing carbon neutrality.

Chemicals used within the printing process are removed wherever possible. 

Solvent-base products have been replaced with Water-base, this includes inks varnishes and laminates.

We also monitor our use of water usage and the quality of water waste, as well as our handling of waste and to recycle throughout the factory.
